I recently (by recently I mean 6 monthes ago) purchased empire carpet at the price of 3500 (rounding) because I wanted the highest traffic level and highest quality....turns out that "quality" is crap!

The carpet ( apparently a level 4 traffic) is extremely matted and dull and snagging and coming up aeverywhere and I could just go on and on!!

I tried to contact empire about it they offered to send one of their carpet people out...yeah not happening since the word THEIR is implied.

Needless to say I have contacted a lawyer because they have made things so unapproachable!!!!

We will just have to see...

Wow I was going to consider them for some work to be done within the next year, but these bad reviews have me thinking whether or not it will be worth it to get the hardwood laminate flooring.

I ordered carpet from Empire. Next day service is not true. They did come out to my house to install, but with 18 ft less carpet then needed. Then they could not get a hold of the warehouse because it close early on a Saturday. Then when I contacted customer service they said they would get back to me in 1-3 business days. So my house is torn apart for 1-3 business days. This is not acceptable for a company that brags about it' s customer service.
